Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Humility is a trait God desires, delights in and requires of His people. He takes pleasure in His people who know that without Him, they can do nothing. Without God, we wouldn't exist. He is the only One who can make something from nothing.

Keep in mind He alone saves. Let it be a daily reminder that the Lord is the source of life, the deliverer from death and giver of eternal life. He is the only way of salvation. He is life.

I have seen people come before Him completely broken and in shambles. I watched them humble themselves before God in prayer and give themselves to Him. I saw them change in appearance as the Lord beatified them with His salvation. It is amazing to see the goodness of God.

In the recent tent revival in Petros, TN, the last night of services, I had preached and given an altar call. People started to come forward who had been rolling their eyes and snickering during the message. I saw the proud become humble in a pile of tears, snot and smeared makeup. A lady completely strung out on drugs came running off the streets high on a substance and fall on the altar begging God to help her.

I watched people minister to her as she received salvation. She got baptized later and she literally sobered up, the look of death washed away and her complexion changed in an instant. She was healed, restored and had received the greatest miracle of all; the salvation of the Lord. Let this encourage you to walk humbly with God and be grateful for His salvation as you make a great day!
