Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! It is easy to praise God for His goodness and righteousness because He is perfect in judgment. He has judged us rightly in our sin declaring our deserving death as the penalty for our wrongdoing.

But, He put that punishment on Jesus so when we believe in Him, we can be free of eternal damnation. It is easy to praise Him for His goodness when we see what we should get as wages for our works of iniquity, but received forgiveness instead.

Praise Him for His righteousness and goodness. Praise Him for His mercy and turn from sin so as to not take His precious gift for granted. Let His righteousness live in you to make you what you could not be on your own. We are righteous because of Jesus when we receive Him so, go live like it as you make a great day!
