Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Trusting in the Lord is an important thing. It's not always an easy thing, though it should be, because He has never given us a reason not to trust Him. But sometimes, it's in the waiting we forget.

Even though it has been a long time since the Lord promised He would return, it doesn't mean what He said isn't true or that He has forgotten. Patience is not developed in instantaneous responses, but in moments of waiting stretching our faith, testing our character and refining our belief.

Keep your eyes open, keep your head up and be diligent in prayer as you wait for the Lord to fulfill His promise. He is coming and coming soon. We who believe and keep patiently watching and waiting will be snatched from this world and caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

It will be in a moment of a moment. We will be with Him and never have to leave His presence again! And thus we shall always be with the Lord! Hold fast to your faith, be patient and let God fill you with hope as wait and make each day a great day!
