Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Remember how we need to use wisdom with what we say and how we say it? And we need to not let the enemy take hold of our thought life? This is a great example of why in this verse today.

How we handle conflict can determine the outcome. We need not be supercharged with emotions when we talk to someone about a wrongdoing. We need not listen to the enemy or the flesh to go get allies to prove we are right.

If someone offends you, go to them, not everyone else. Pray before you go to them so you can be calm, rational and loving. Crucify your attitude and need to be right. It is better to make the situation right than to prove you are right.

The goal is to gain back the person to Christ and reconcile the relationship, not to let your pride be exalted. Be ready to listen and see if there is something you have done without knowing it as well. Love each other as Christ has loved you so, that in everything, He is exalted and you can both make a great day!
