Good morning! Today is known as Silent Saturday because it was a day of rest and waiting. Nothing was happening, seemingly as Jesus' body lay in a borrowed tomb. Thursday was dramatic, Friday was chaotic, Saturday was silent, but Sunday was coming!
Sometimes, it's in the silence that you hear the most. We need to learn to still ourselves and wait on the Lord. There was nothing they could do; only wait on Jesus. Only He could pull off this miracle. And soon, they would see Him do just that.
Society and culture are chaotic right now. Political unrest, economic uncertainty, job market drawbacks and violent divisions are all over. But, we need to learn to trust in Jesus, because this world needs a miracle that only He can pull off. And soon, we will see Him do just that. In the seemingly silent voice of heaven that makes Him seem like God is dead and absent, another Sunday is coming!
Prepare yourself to meet the Lord and see His hand move over this world like never before. Rest in knowing that just because it is finished, He's not done. Let peace rule your heart so that the world will see the hope of glory in you. Show the world He is Lord of your heart as He prepares to return and do your best to make a great day!
