Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When the Lord is your portion and desire, you no longer have to fear mistakes and worry about the "what if's" of life. You no longer trust in yourself to perform perfectly so the pressure is gone. The Lord is the one who has to come through, not you.

He never fails. He is the strength of life and faithful in all things. Do you trust Him wholeheartedly? Is He the portion and desire of your heart? Are you sure He will come through with His perfect strength in the midst of your weakness and failures?

If we think we won't fail, we deceive ourselves. If we think the Lord will fail us, we are deceived as well. We will fail and God never will. He is perfect in all of His ways. We may not understand everything He does, but that's why it's called faith.

We have to trust Him in all things and that He in His sovereignty, knows what is best for us. Put your trust in Him and let Him be the desire of your heart. He will be your portion even in failure and misunderstandings. He is faithful and will teach you how to always make a great day!
