Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Jesus understood the importance of the word of God. His entire life was based on it and He was the embodiment of the word. He is the living word. He was praying in this verse.

His desire was for unity among the believers to be one with the Father and each other. He wanted them cleansed by the word of truth and to be set apart for the work of the kingdom. Have you let the word of truth set you apart for the kingdom?

If we ever want to live a life pleasing to God, we must allow the word of God to permeate our lives. It will cleanse, sanctify and purify us so that we may be whole and set apart for His service. May this prayer be answered in your life today and every day as you go and make each one a great day!
