Good morning! October is often associated with Halloween which celebrates the dead. As believers, we celebrate the living, not the dead, in our Lord Jesus Christ. God sent Him to live, die and resurrect from the dead.
He is no longer dead, but alive. He's not a ghost or a spirit. He came back to life in the physical form and not merely reanimated, but resurrected to a new and glorious form. We have this living hope in Him and worship Him.
He is alive and through the abundant mercy of God the Father, we have the assurance of salvation because Jesus, having become sin for us, died for sin but rose again in righteousness.
He rose under His own power so we have hope of eternal life. He is our living hope, not a dead hope. Trust Jesus and know He lives so you can face whatever comes and make each day a great day!
