Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Faith is defined in this verse as a strong conviction of the truth of relating to the existence of God. Substance is defined as the firm foundation of actual existence. So, faith is true belief that is the firm foundation that God actually exists.

Evidence is defined as proof by which a thing is proved or tested. Things is defined as a deed, an accomplished fact. Seen is defined by every way you can see a thing, by natural eyes, by perception, through the senses and in the mind's eye.

So, all together, the verse actually reads, "Now true conviction of God's existence is the firm foundation of His actual reality of accomplished factual deeds waited for in confidence, the proven, tested proof of accomplished facts unseen by natural eyes, the senses, perception or in the mind's eye." This gives a bit of a different perspective to the verse when we see what is actually being said.

God exists rather you believe it or not. The evidence is all around and easily observed. It explains all of what we see and what we can't see. Have faith as the substance for the salvation that is unseen yet is known by those who receive it. Have true faith as you make a great day!
