Good morning! Today is often referred to Silent Saturday. It was still and quiet after the chaos of the days before. Seemingly, nothing was happening. For those who had trusted in Jesus, hope was faded and all looked lost. But God wasn't done.
Everyone who witnessed the multitudes of miracles were now doubting what they believed. Just a few days before, they were crying, "Hosanna!" and now had changed their minds to cry, "Crucify!" It only took four days for the spirit of antichrist to take a hold of their hearts to turn on their Creator.
Now, they doubted what Jesus had done, said and prophesied. They saw the brutality of His punishment and the certainty of His death. How could anyone survive it, let alone raise back to life? It looked impossible, but what is impossible for man is possible for God. Have you lost hope in these trying days?
Just because God is silent doesn't mean He is absent. Just because it looks impossible doesn't mean God has abandoned you. Just because the eyes see it doesn't mean that's all there is of it. Just because it looks dead doesn't mean it has to stay dead. The resurrection power is coming. Just wait. Just believe. Just hold on. Sometimes it's in the silence that revival begins to happen. Let Jesus bring faith, hope and love back to life in you. He is able and you just need to believe so that when it comes, you will receive everything you need to make every day a great day!
