Saturday's Devotional - 5/16/2026

Good morning! We must be students of the word in order to know the will of God. His will is found between Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 22:21. But not everything specifically deals with, "This is the will of God." So, we need to be studious of the word to understand His will.

When we know His will, we can know how to pray according to His will. When we do, we can have absolute assurance of Him not only hearing our prayers, but answering them. Some of the things in His will are to seek mercy, do justly and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8). Rejoice always, pray continually, in everything, give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). There a lot more verses that deal with God's will. I cannot list them all or it would be a month's worth of devotionals.

But, love should be the center of your motives and holiness the center of your conduct. If you seek to act and love like Jesus, you will stay in the will of God. When you don't know what to pray, ask the Holy Spirit to help you pray the perfect will of God for that situation as Romans 8:26-28 instructs us to do. Seek the word, ask the Holy Spirit for help and love like Jesus in all things and you will find the will of God and know how to make each day a great day!
