Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! It's very easy to point out all that is going on in the church today that is wrong. It's easy to see all the ways people are adopting unbiblical teachings, how leaders are falling into sin and even how they are becoming more of a social justice center than a place for believers to be equipped.

But it takes the lens of the Bible and the Holy Spirit to see all the good going on too. There are churches going into revival. Reformation taking place. College campuses having amazing encounters with Christ that last weeks or even months. We have to be careful we don't just imbibe the things we see on the news. We need to see all that is truly happening and rejoice.

I see new believers making radical commitments to Christ. I see ministries popping up in areas you never would expect. I see Jesus invading spaces He's been told to get out of and I see the church growing despite persecution. Learn to rejoice in place of being jaded. Be full of hope instead of defeat. Praise God for all that He does and love each other the way Christ has loved you. In doing these things, you will always be able to make a great day!
