Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Jesus book ends this passage with focusing on Him. He spoke things to not only give peace and assurance but instruction and authority. He is a realist that tells us we will have trouble in this world in this life.

But trouble doesn't have to overtake us because it didn't overtake Him. As believers, our life is hidden in Christ. So, if He has overcome the world, we are overcomers in Him. We don't have to fear trouble, we can remain in hope.

Remain in Jesus and His peace will remain in you regardless of what you are going through. In yourself, you will have anxiety. In this world, you will have fear. But in Christ, you will have peace. Keep focused on Christ and remain in Him. His peace will be your portion and His love will be your strength. He has overcome the world so you can have peace and make each day a great day!
