Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! There is a door that the sheep go through that they know leads them to safety and security. It is the one where the shepherd lays at the entrance at night and leads them out to green pasture by day. It is the one they know is safe and guarded by their master.

Jesus is the door that we must enter through to find the safety and security of heaven. There is no other door we can use to get into heaven and no other door by which we can be safe from the plans of the enemy. The enemy seeks to bring destruction and death, but Jesus gives us and keeps us in abundant life.

The enemy will lead you into a barren land to starve you out, steal your joy and destroy your trust. Jesus leads you to the land of lush provision and calm waters of peace. Choose wisely whom you follow. Let Him grant you access to peace, safety and sanctuary and guard your life against the plans of the enemy. Trust Him, enter through Him and stay safe in Him as you make a great day!
