Good morning! If ever there is a time to be careful with your words, it is in the day we live. Seemingly, everyone is hypersensitive to every word that is said today. People are just looking for reasons to be offended.
Jesus knew how to handle this in His ministry on the earth. He was asked what the greatest commandment is in an attempt to trap Him. The dynamic of the conversation was tense and His answer could be taken wrong allowing Him to be discredited and accused of false teaching.
He gave an answer from heaven's wisdom that left them all dumbfounded and unable to trap Him in His words. It's important for us to think strongly about what we're going to say and how we say it.
Words are important, but so is the manner in which they are delivered. Be gracious with your speech, with a calm, patient tone. Let the Holy Spirit give you wisdom and pray before you answer. Put these verses into practice to be like Jesus as you make a great day!
