Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! So many people live by their senses, feelings, emotions and what feels good in the moment. I hear things like, "I don't feel convicted by that so I don't see anything wrong with it." What a deception! There are things the word tell us not to do.

You don't need to feel conviction or pray about it because God has already declared it as sin. If you try to use the Bible to justify your behavior, the motives of your heart is amiss. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap destruction. If you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life.

You have to choose what you will do; sow to the flesh or to the Spirit. Jesus told us to crucify the flesh. He said whoever seeks to save or preserve their life will lose it. But whoever loses their life for His sake will inherit eternal life. Take up your cross and follow Jesus. Let your motives be pure for what and why you are doing everything. Let your life be an offering to God to let His perfect will be done in you. Then you will make each day a great day!
