Good morning! The disciples had a hard time believing what had happened even though Jesus had told them He would rise from the dead. They had witnessed a horrific scene at the crucifixion and it would be hard to believe anyone could come back to life from that.
Jesus was all man, after all, but they had forgotten that He was also all God at the same time. The man named Jesus they knew had died, but the Lord Jesus had risen and been glorified.
He appeared to them and restored them so they could carry on the mission of the kingdom. Without Jesus being their Lord, they were doomed for corruption and dead works. There was no good in them anymore than there is any good in us apart from Jesus. Believe in your heart He is Lord and that He is risen. He will be in you and with you in the mission and ministry of faith. Trust Him, believe in Him and let Him be alive in you as you make a great day!
