Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! One certainty we have in this life is that eventually, we will pass away. It's not a fun fact or a pleasant thought, but it is the reality of life. How we live this life determines where we will spend forever in eternity.

Once we pass away, there are no second chances. We don't get a Mulligan if we don't like the outcome of our eternal destination. It's final. So, while you have the opportunity, seek the Lord while you can. Call upon Him while you are able to.

Once you pass away, it won't matter because it will be too late. You will have made your choice and have to eternally live with the consequences or reward of your choice. I know, most of you who read this are Christians who are in church, reading your Bibles and praying regularly. I get it. But it is very easy to get cold as we see evil portrayed so blatantly.

You have to guard your heart and your faith. The only way to do that is to diligently seek the Lord while you have the time. Stay connected to the Vine in order to remain a fruitful branch. It is not time to play church games and think religious duty will suffice. It is about Jesus and forever will be about Jesus. We will worship Him forever if we hold onto our faith and diligently love Him and remain in His love. Seek Him while He may be found and call upon Him daily as you make a great day!
