Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When God sends revival, He sends a harvest out of season. When Jesus came, He brought revival through the truth. He revealed heaven and the kingdom of God. He did what the religious leaders could not do like miracles and healing that astounded everyone.

He even raised the dead, cleansed lepers and cured all diseases in entire town. He is the refreshing rain come down from heaven to bring a harvest out of season. They weren't expecting Him when He showed up, but God knows exactly what He is doing.

As we get closer to the time of Jesus' return, we should expect Him to do what only He can do. We should expect a harvest ahead of the time we would normally expect it. We should be diligent and active. We should not be sitting back, but praying and going out into the harvest field and reaping for the kingdom.

We have been given the rain as a well of salvation through Jesus Christ. Tell others about Him. Look for His return with expectation and do not get caught sleeping. Get a sense of urgency that God is moving and people need to get right with Him. Tell others of the hope you have that we would not miss our time of visitation as you make a great day!
