Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! I really like this verse. Before I knew Jesus, I believed in Him but never thought He could love me or wanted me. I understood His holiness, but not His love. It kept me afar from Him as a stranger; an alien of heaven.

But once I realized He loved me, I realized He not just loved me, but wanted me to be in His household. I was His child, a member of His household and a citizen of heaven. I belonged, I was welcome and had hope of eternal life.

I was no longer a stranger or an illegal alien. I belonged to God, a member of His family and had a place in heaven prepared for me. It is the same for you who believe as well. If you only knew how much you were loved, you would let nothing stand between you and having this experience that I did. Let Him love you today and give you a place in His household and kingdom so you can really have the best reason to make a great day!
