Good morning! Fear can be a tough thing to overcome in your life, especially if you have let stay for a long time. The deeper you let it take root, the harder it is to overcome. It takes work and a refocus of your thinking.
This verse puts it into perspective on how to change. Start with thinking on the Lord. This verse starts with a reminder that the Lord is faithful. It then reassures you to know you have no reason to fear because the Lord who is faithful will establish you.
The word establish in this verse means to stabilize, set firmly in place, to strengthen especially in one's mind. So, the Lord wants to stabilize your thinking, firmly set it on His unfailing nature and give you strength in your resolve. Knowing this, that He who establishes you will also guard you from evil.
So, there is nothing to fear when you let Jesus shift your mindset and reestablish your thoughts to be fixated on Him. When your mind is stayed on Him, you will see that He who is for you is greater than he that is against you. Let His peace rule your heart today as you fearlessly make a great day!
