Monday's Devotional - 4/27/2026

Good morning! True belief is not by words only, but action. What you truly believe will be known by how you live and what you do. If you truly believe in Jesus, it will be evident by more than what you say. It will be shown by everything you do in life.

When you truly believe, everything in your life revolves around that belief. It dictates your frame of mind, frame of living and the behavior you have. Jesus said true belief in Him requires following Him. It means self-denial, taking up your cross daily and doing whatever Christ leads you to do.

What does it mean to take up your cross? It means you die to your own desires and take on His desires. His will becomes your will. If you desire to preserve your life, you will lose it for eternity. But if you desire to lose your way of life for Jesus, you will have eternal life. Let your life reflect a belief in Jesus that takes action to love as He did. Then you will always be able to make a great day!
