Good morning! I remember hearing people being called a fool as a kid. It seemed like a weighty word even back then and yet people threw it around so carelessly. The Bible defines the true definition of a fool as being one who truly believes there is no God.
To not believe in God with all the evidence that points to His existence is a hardhearted person. The Bible says they are corrupt and have done such things to have seared their conscience. They have become foolish.
Now, we as believers should be careful. We should not call them a fool or be derogatory towards them. Something has happened to them to cause them to be hateful and blinded to the truth. They are under the spell of the devil and need prayer.
So, when you see someone who is foolish in the biblical sense, pray for them. Arm yourself with wisdom and the evidential knowledge of God to defend and show the truth. For it is by the truth that we are set free. Pray for the foolish people around you and do all you can to point them to Jesus as you make a great day!
