Monday's Devotional 4/06/2026

Good morning! Your greatest temptation is to doubt the gospel. Your greatest struggle is to believe everyday that the gospel is true. Many of the disciples lost hope and doubted what Jesus said would happen concerning His death and resurrection.

Two men were walking along the road very sad. Jesus appeared to them and started walking along with them asking why they were so defeated. He opened the Scriptures to them as they walked along. Their doubt blinded them from recognizing Jesus when He showed up.

How often have you missed Jesus and the answer for your hope because of doubt? Those men had their eyes opened after hearing the word and when they saw Jesus break bread and give thanks for it, as was His custom. Then they realized their hearts burned when He shared the word. Their hope was restored and they ran back the way they came and told everyone they knew. Stay in the word to keep you full of hope and your joy alive. Resist the temptation to doubt the gospel and you'll always have the hope you need to make a great day!
