Friday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! We have to be in God's word to know what is righteous and holy. Why? Because God is the only One who is righteous and holy by default. Everyone and everything else was cursed because of sin. Jesus paid the price for sin so we can see righteousness and God's mercy.

So, if we are to seek righteousness and mercy, we have to seek Him who is righteous and merciful. It only comes from Him. When we seek Him, we will find Him and receive the benefits of being His child.

We can't have life without Him, We can't be righteous without Him. We cannot be truly honorable without first honoring Him. If we follow Him, we will have life (1 John 5:12-13), righteousness (Matthew 6:33; 2 Corinthians 5:21), and honor (John 12:26; Romans 2:10-11). Seek Him and to be like Him and you will find the treasure life, righteousness and honor to help you always make a great day!
