Friday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When you fill your life with the truth, you experience a freedom the world can't give or take away. You never know what you are carrying until you are no longer carrying it. You get used to the load you carry.

When you put off everything and put on Jesus, you realize how light His burden really is. When you fill your life with the word, you learn to walk according to the Spirit. If you walk according to the Spirit and not the flesh, you live in freedom.

Sin becomes less attractive. The old way of living is less tempting. The things that used to entice you will disgust you. When Jesus becomes your desire, the things of the flesh and this world just can't compare. Learn to walk according to the Spirit and you will learn to overcome sin and temptation. Jesus will strengthen you to be an overcomer so everyday you can make a great day!
