Friday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! God's grace is an amazing thing. You may wonder how it has appeared to all men, considering not all men (mankind) serve Jesus. It has appeared to us because we've not all been destroyed. In our sin, we commit treason against God and heaven.

We all deserve death because of our sin. That's God's standard. If you work sin, you get paid in death. But His grace has appeared to us all through Christ which has given us forgiveness by His blood. If we repent, we receive His forgiveness. That's grace!

The grace of God brings salvation. It brings us strength to not only repent of sin, but live a life free of sinning. You don't have to sin because of the grace of God. His grace gives us the power to resist temptation. His grace teaches us how to live a godly life. Thank Him for His grace and tell someone about it in hope that they too receive this grace. Then, you can help someone else to make a great day!
