Friday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Sometimes, we fail God. When we do, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking He can't use you anymore. That somehow, you've blown it and destroyed the plan He has for you or disqualified yourself from carrying it out.

The Bible is full of countless people who failed God miserably and yet God still used them mightily. You can't cast away your confidence in His grace and mercy. The blood of Jesus cleanses all sin for all time. Just trust the finished work of the cross and keep going!

He started the work in you at salvation, and He will complete the work in eternity. You and I are a work in progress. Just keep striving to make progress and let Him work out the kinks along the way.

I'm not saying to keep sinning, by no means! But, when we fall short, go to Jesus and let the cleansing flow of Calvary wash over you once again. God's not done with you, so don't give up! Keep going and let Him help you to make a great day until He completes His work in you!
