Friday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Our memory can be a blessing and a curse. It can remember great things and wonderful times and it can remember terrible times and remind you of things you'd rather forget.

The enemy likes to play in the mind by reminding you of all the bad things you've done. He brings condemnation to say you're too bad for God to love you and disqualified from serving Him. The devil is a liar!

When you are in Christ, you no longer live for self, but for Christ. So, if you are in Him, then kick the devil out because he has no place in the life of a believer. Tell him to leave and take his baggage with him. You are not who you used to be.

There is a saying I like, "when the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future." You no longer walk in the flesh, but in the Spirit. So, fearlessly walk in the Spirit and let sin be a thing of the past. Through Jesus, you are free so, live in the liberty only He provides and show others He lives as you make a great day!
