Good morning! A firm foundation can be likened to a tree with deep roots. It's roots grow deep before it grows tall and bears fruit so it can sustain the weight and pressure of life. A tree with shallow roots will topple easily in a storm.
A tree with shallow roots will fall when the limbs are too heavy and full of fruit. This is why our hope has to be firmly set in the Lord before anything else. He is the deep-rooted vine, we are the branches. Before we can grow, we have to attached to the vine.
He is the vine planted near life-giving waters that nurture us. Though seasons of dryness come and great storms, we will remain well-watered and able to yield fruit; fruit that lasts. Keep the Lord first and above all things. He is the foundation of hope, the source of faith and the glory of God. His grace sustains us and keeps hope alive so we can always make a great day!
