Good morning! The shepherds listened to what they had been told and acted on it right away. They had joy, excitement and expectation. They arrived to see exactly what had been told to them. They got to see the Son of God face to face.
What are you missing because of delayed obedience? God has ways for you to encounter Him that are based on your obedience. If you just say yes and don't delay, He will show you Himself in news ways that will give you joy, excitement and expectation to strengthen your faith.
I wonder all the missed encounters I've had because of my failure to act in immediate obedience. I pray this season, you will sharpen your obedience and encounter Jesus in new ways that show you a new aspect of who He is. May you grow in joy and faith as you have expectation to encounter Jesus each day and make a great day!
