Friday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Writer's picture: Bret SanorBret Sanor

Good morning! There are people who have been in my life that I wish I had asked more questions when I had the chance. My grandpa and my dad are two of those people. I wish I had talked to them more about life and business to glean from them their wisdom.

The older I get, the more I see the value in wisdom and learning all the things that I neglected in my youth. Pride is something that often keeps younger folks from asking questions or seeking advice from older, wiser folks.

Youth make plans, but many of them fail because of a lack of godly counsel and a refusal to receive instruction. Later in life, they realize their errors often at great expense. Let the Lord develop your plans and give you wise counsel.

Do not ignore sound godly advice so that you will have something to give those who will one day ask you. wisdom is precious and teaches you how to use the facts you have learned. Let those who have learned teach you and let the Lord fill you with His wisdom so each day you will make wise decisions and make each day a great day!
