Friday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Freedom is an expensive gift and can be an expensive choice. If you choose to neglect the cost God paid for your soul, the cost of your choice will be more costly than you can afford no matter how much you have to spend.

Temporary gains that lead to eternal bankruptcy is not a wise investment. What price do you put on your soul? God put the price of His own Son as the cost of your soul.

That makes you very valuable and it would be a huge waste to gain the world yet forfeit the very thing God paid so high a price for. Count the cost, understand your value and invest wisely. Many people are investing their time, money and efforts into things that are temporal.

Invest all of yourself into eternity and live with the One who could afford the cost and was willing to pay it to give you eternal life. Live for Him who died for you as you enjoy the freedom He provides as you make a great day!
