Good morning! Speaking of morning, this passage reminds me of the song, "I'll Fly Away." The first line says, "Some glad morning when this life is over, I'll fly away."
This passage is talking about just that. One day, I believe very soon, the Lord will return and take us who believe home to heaven. Those believers who have passed away will rise up and then we who are alive and remain will be caught up with them in the air.
What a day that will be! And in the twinkling of an eye, eternity will begin for us and we will be with the Lord forever! Give Him praise today and see to it that nothing stands between you and heaven as you think about this passage and make a great day!
