Good morning! This is a verse in the middle of a section talking about Christian living and godly virtues. Before this verse it says to be kind and loving with one another, honor and put others ahead of yourself, being diligent, fervent in spirit and serving the Lord.
After it, it says to distribute to the needs of the saints and given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you, bless and not curse. In all these things, what do you need to work on? If you're like me, it's pretty convicting across the board.
But disciplining yourself to do things you really do not like to do changes bad habits and promotes righteousness. It is easy to hate those who hate you, but we are called to pray for, love and bless those who hate us. It is not easy, but with Jesus, it is possible. Ask Him to help you make these things a reality in your life as you make a great day!
