Friday's Devotional - 4/24/2026

Good morning! The sacrifice of Jesus paid the penalty for our sins. This reconciled us to God satisfying the wrath of God when we believe in Jesus. His death paid for us to have forgiveness for our sins.

His resurrection paid for us to have eternal life. He was the first resurrection and will resurrect the righteous dead and catch up in the air those who are still alive when He returns (1 Corinthians 15:20-28; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). We are saved by His life.

Encourage yourself and others with the truth of these words. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming and hopeless. Sometimes, you make a mistake in a moment and think you blew it with God. His grace is sufficient. Trust in Him who is perfect and let His blood speak a better word over you. Receive forgiveness and know eternal life is your portion as a believer. Keep this in mind and you will always be able to make a great day!
