Friday's Devotional - 10/30/2026

Good morning! Being impulsive is one of the tools the devil uses to cause people to stumble. Doing things without thinking is unwise. Doing things without prayer is foolish. Waiting on the Lord is vital to staying in His perfect will.
We don't have to react to everything or get in our feelings about things that trigger us. Learning to wait on the Lord is how we develop patience and perseverance. Faith rises in the waiting. Discipline yourself to wait on the Lord.
In the waiting, He encourages, strengthens, and directs us. Waiting gives you time to see the right path despite what you may desire in the moment. Think about the times you acted out of anger and rushed into things. It probably caused you more trouble than if you had just waited to think about your reaction. Waiting gives the Lord space to speak His wisdom into your life. Gicve Him the room to teach you so you will always know how to make a great day!
