Good morning! The Apostle Paul in the previous chapter spoke of his vision of heaven. He got a glimpse of grace in all of its fullness. He saw God in all His glory. He could speak with authority because of the great revelations revealed to him through his experience.
He speaks in this chapter of one of the greatest revelations we could have in knowing God is three persons in one being. Namely, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Many people argue able the Holy Trinity because the word "trinity" is not directly said in the Bible. Also, people have a hard time understanding how three persons could exist in one being.
I explain it as the Father is the mastermind of the Godhead. The Son, Jesus Christ, is the bodily form of the Godhead. The Holy Spirit is the spiritual force of power to carry out the will of the Father in the Godhead. The word "trinity" is a word used to describe the Godhead, which is all throughout Scripture as three persons. The Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God.
Together, they form the Godhead with unique functions. Paul understood the grace of God after dealing with his thorn in the flesh that he couldn't tolerate. God's grace became sufficient for him despite the thorn. He gave us a blessing of what he experienced in the grace of Jesus, the love of the Father and the fellowship of communion of the Holy Spirit. May you experience the fullness of the Godhead in your life each day so you can have all you need to make each day a great day!
