Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! How you live your life is preaching a sermon about who you love and follow. Some live for themselves. Some for a spouse or their kids. Some for their work. Some for their ministry. Some for sports.

Who do you live for? What or who is the subject of your life's sermon each day? It's not just the words you say that preaches but the life you live that speaks the loudest. Do you preach Jesus by how you live and talk?

Not easy questions, but we have to be honest with ourselves to see if we are truly in the light of the truth. When our lives preach Jesus, we warn people to have a fear of God because of judgment. We teach consequences for sin. We impart wisdom by making Godly decisions.

Our lives should point people to Jesus and compelling them to be saved or at least bring them to a place they make a conscious decision to accept or reject Him. Our prayer should be that everyone we meet would see us and be compelled to know Jesus so that we can hear "Well done! Good and faithful servant! Enter My rest and receive your reward!" Think on this and live a life that preaches Jesus as you make a great day!
