Good morning! In reading this verse, I'm reminded of another verse in Colossians 3:12 that tells us to clothe ourselves with compassion and humility. Isn't that the essence of this verse?
Pride can keep us from rejoicing when we see others succeed. It can make us jealous of their blessings. Pride can have us grow cold to those who are hurting.
Compassion and humility posture us to be like Jesus to those who have joy and those who have sorrow. Choose to be like Jesus and put this verse into practice as you make a great day!
