Good morning! Thanksgiving Day may be over, but being thankful is an every day discipline we should all get into the habit of doing. It shouldn't be left to a day over a feast. Gratefulness should be a way of life.
The Lord has a protocol for entering into His presence. It's hard for westerners to understand because we've never had a king and our country is not a kingdom. There is a way you come to the king that is acceptable.
You entered the gates of the castle with thanksgiving, the courts of the king's throne room with praise. God wants us to be thankful and have a grateful heart. Why? It shows we understand His goodness and mercy. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
If He decides to take your life, He takes it. If He decides to save your life, He saves it. He is sovereign but He is also just, loving and merciful. Be thankful He sent Jesus to saves us from our sin that if we repent, put our faith in Him and live a life of godliness, we shall be saved. I'm thankful for salvation and praise Him for His goodness that led me to repentance. Be thankful each day and you will be able to make each day a great day!
