Good morning! Anxiety is hard to control especially when you've allowed your mind to be anxious in stressful situations. Unlearning anxiousness is not easy, but with Jesus, it is possible. It takes work, but if I can do it, anyone can.
Anxiety is a major part of PTSD, which I had for years after going through an industrial accident. But by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, I was able to overcome. You have to allow Jesus to have control of your thoughts and emotions. He replaces them with peace.
Meditating on the word of God fills your mind with truth. Prayer connects you to the Comforter who gives you peace. Gratitude changes your attitude towards your situations to bring joy into your heart. Give the things over to Jesus that cause you anxiety and He will guard you with His peace.
I encourage you to read Philippians 4:4-9 daily if you struggle with anxiety. Put it into practice and God will help you and teach you how to live in peace and make each day a great day!
