Sunday's Devotional - 8/23/2026

Good morning! One of the defining characteristics of a truly redeemed heart is humility. A proud heart resists salvation because salvation takes surrender and an understanding of personal sin. That takes humbling yourself and acknowledging God as greater and superior.

God takes pleasure in those who live truthfully by knowing God is sovereign. That is the truth that brings freedom and puts humanity in their place under Almighty God. He alone is the King of kings. When we humble ourselves under the King of kings, He beautifies us with His salvation.

He takes pleasure in those who walk with Him in truth and lifts us up to live in the gift of His salvation. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles themself will be lifted up. Let God lift you up knowing His love and grace is sufficient for all things. You can rest in His presence so you can always have what it takes to make a great day!
