Good morning! When we know the word, we have an obligation to act on it. What good is it to hear the truth and do nothing with it? What good is it to know the truth and never let it affect our lives?
If we know the truth and do nothing with it, yet believe we are right with the truth, we deceive ourselves. Hearing the gospel and understanding that Jesus died for our sins but never turning away from what He died to free you from is not true belief.
Doing is acting on what we believe. Living out the word shows we truly believe what we say we have received. Don't just hear the word, put it into practice in your life and be a doer of the word. No, our doing doesn't save us, it only shows that we have received the truth and are acting upon it. Be a doer of the word as you go out and make a great day!
