Good morning! When God calls you to something and you say "yes" He will test your "yes" to see if you really mean it. Jesus said "yes" and got sent to a desert for forty days and nights to fast and be tempted of the devil himself.
He remained faithful to God and His "yes" through that. God wants us to be pure in heart and steadfast with our commitment to His calling. Jesus knew He would face death on cross. Paul knew many things including beatings and imprisonment.
They both remained faithful and because they did, we can follow their example and do it too. Rely on the Holy Spirit to help, strengthen and equip you to witness for Jesus and be a living testimony of His grace, power and mercy. May you have the same resolve as Paul and Jesus as you make a great day!
