Good morning! This is Holy Week which is the week leading up to Resurrection Sunday when we celebrate the Lord Jesus rising from the dead. It's important to remember what He accomplished on the cross.
He atoned for our sins under the law and redeemed us from our sins under the New Covenant. Not only did He cover our sins and bury them with Him in death, but He removed them through redemption when He rose from the grave. Have you denied Him His work?
How can you deny His work? By not confessing your sins and letting His blood do its work to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. If we confess, He forgives and cleanses us from our sins. It's part of the mystery of the gospel. It's the divine unfair exchange. He got our punishment, we get His righteousness imputed to us.
Let His righteousness be enough for you. Trust His faithful and just work be sufficient for you. His blood speaks a better word than the screams of "guilty" from your sins. Let His love and righteousness wash over you and help you to make each day a great day!
