Good morning! Love is so often associated with feelings, emotions and affection but the Lord tells us it is an action word. It is less about feelings and more about how you act towards others. How are you acting towards the Lord?
God equates love with obedience. This is why He exalted Jesus because He was perfectly obedient. If we love Him, we will do what He says. Then, His love will abide in us as a result. His love follows obedience because in obedience to His commands is where we show Him our love and trust.
If you trust Him, follow Him and keep His commands. If you say you love Him, show it by obeying His commandments. His love will be in you and you will be in His love. Then, the world will know His love is true and you will be able to teach others how to make a great day!
