Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Waiting is hard, especially if you struggle with patience. But when you discipline yourself to wait, that is when you learn to wait well. You will have to wait in life, sometimes longer than others, but it's often how you wait that determines the outcome.

Are you waiting well or do you get easily angered and aggravated when you have to wait? waiting well means you praise God in the waiting, you keep your emotions in check, you practice self-control, you mind your speech and speak well of those delay you rather than curse them or at them.

Waiting well causes a renewing, refreshing and revitalizing blessing to come upon you. You gain your strength and find your "second wind" to carry on when you feel like giving up. You get your help from the Lord so you can keep going and to finish making it a great day. So, go do that! Finish strong and make a great day!
