Good morning! It is a mind-boggling thought to think we are citizens of heaven because of Jesus Christ, but we are. We have been adopted into the family of God, given an inheritance as heirs and joint-heirs with Christ and a citizenship in the kingdom of heaven.
What a gift! We don't have to wait until we get to heaven to be a citizen of heaven. We get to be one now and eagerly await Jesus to take us home and make the transfer of death to life complete in us.
We are members of a royal household. We should be mindful of this in everything we do, everywhere we go. We need to walk with purpose and meaning. We need to love and want to see others become family in the kingdom of God. Let us act like we know who and where we belong as we go out and make a great day!
