Friday's Devotional - 10/16/2026

Good morning! As we see the evidence of the return of Christ becoming more eminent, I see the warning of Jesus talking about those days saying, "the love of many will grow cold." We have to be diligent to keep His love in our hearts and to make it grow in abundance and not get icy cold.

We should be growing in our knowledge of our Savior and the word of truth in the Bible to help us recognize the times and the lies of the enemy. We need to operate in discernment to know the motives and spiritual origin of everything we are in contact with. Study the truth to recognize the counterfeit.

FBI agents who work in stopping counterfeit money know how to find fake bills not by studying fake bills, but by studying real ones so closely that they spot a fake easily and quickly. They know what to look for. When we know the truth and Jesus who is full of grace and truth, we can know what is good, excellent and true.

Then, when we seek the truth, we will live in sincere faith without sin and offense. We will walk closely with the Lord and have the hope needed to sustain us through temptation, trials and persecution. Walk with Jesus, look for His coming and keep your love growing strong as you make a great day!
